The President’s Award is the one award that I have at my discretion to make.
Becca has been a friend and mentor to me for the last 5 years. I worked with her throughout her terms as Chapter President and as a member of the conference committee. She gave me the confidence and support during that time to feel I could handle the important position of President of “The Great CT Chapter”. There were many things I was not before I started working with Becca and a public speaker was certainly not one of them. I started volunteering for the chapter as the financial administrator in a position I was very comfortable in, numbers are easy for me.
She has been there for me over the past 2 years providing counsel, sharing experience and sharing her wordsmithing skills.
