2022 AMTA-CT Chapter New Volunteer of the Year Recipient – Susan Francis

The Chapter New Volunteer of the Year Award is a new award this year.  The award is presented to an emerging chapter volunteer who has been serving in an elected or appointed position within the first 1-3 years and has made an impact on the chapter and chapter membership.

Susan has been a volunteer for 2 years.  She has worked hard to learn AMTA procedures and contracting.   She is a valued member of the leadership of this chapter and is a respected voice of membership to the board.  She has led the chapter forward during the pandemic years and negotiated the chapter’s first virtual education courses.   She also had the honor of contracting and managing the first live education event in 2 years.  The classes were a success and the event was safe for everyone, with careful planning to follow current CDC, State and Local guidelines.   Additionally, she initiated and compiled a member survey to help in planning future events.

Please join us in congratulating, Susan Francis as the first CT Chapter New Volunteer of the Year.
