Membership Chair

Stephen spent over a decade working in retail banking, in roles from part-time teller at a small credit union in Blacksburg, Virginia to manager of instructional design for one of the largest banks in the United States.  Finding the work unfulfilling, though, he changed careers in 2013, earning a personal training certification from the American College of Sports Medicine, then a master’s degree in Kinesiology from A.T. Still University, and, most recently, an associate’s degree in Massage Therapy from CT State Community College – Asnuntuck.

He applies the lessons learned from his formal education and his diverse work experience to help those in need, whether they are trying to improve sports performance, complete activities of daily living, or just live healthier lives.

Stephen currently works for Fox Rehabilitation, and as an adjunct instructor for his alma mater, CT State Community College. He lives with his wife, Jeannine, and their two kiddos, in West Hartford where he is also the treasurer of the PTO at his kiddo’s elementary school.  He looks forward to working with everyone at the AMTA and to contributing to such an important organization.
