2024 National AMTA Government Relations and Legislative Advocate Award Recipient

The 2024 National Award Recipients were announced this month at the National Convention in Tampa, Florida.

Our very own, CT Chapter member, Ro Dunn, was honored for her groundbreaking work with the TIP (Trafficking in Persons) council. The TIP council is chaired by Rep. Gilchrest.

In November of 2021, Ro was appointed to the TIP council. Ro, is an advocate and voice representing the massage therapy profession in Connecticut. This allows her to share our concerns and issues with proposed legislation that would negatively impact our ability to practice. In addition, it gives Ro the ability to educate other members on the council of the laws and controls in place by law and the Dept. of Health to protect our profession.

Ro is an experienced massage therapist with 35 years of practice and AMTA membership.

Join us in congratulating Ro on her outstanding achievements!
