Join us in congratulating Jennifer DiSilvio as this year’s Chapter Humanitarian award winner! While many of us don’t know Jennifer from meetings in “The Before Times”, she has always been a vocal advocate in the social media space. She is passionate about hospice and oncology massage and practices as part of the integrative medicine team at Yale and St. Vincent’s hospitals. She also created her own CE program for hospice massage and is working on one for oncology massage. She previously volunteered at Branford Hospice for 10 years and, in her private practice, offered free oncology massage and Reiki sessions once a month. Jennifer certainly shows us the heart of massage while representing our profession with professionalism and grace. Congratulations Jennifer!
