Gov’t Relations Coordinator
Nikki is a 2005 graduate of CCMT – Newington, where she was in the Spa Program. She joined ATMA as a student while still in school and then transferred that to Professional membership once licensed. Coming from a background in retail and property management, she embraced the transition to massage and, while beginning to build a practice, began to study thai massage. After traveling around the country, and eventually Thailand, to find teachers and expand her knowledge base, Nikki decided to get rid of the table and move to the mat exclusively. She has been focused on Thai Massage and the associated adjunct therapies since 2010.
In 2010, Nikki also obtained her 200 YTT through Samadhi Yoga Studio where she still teaches today. She has taken further study to work with trauma-sensitivity and adaptive yoga for the military and is certified through Warriors at Ease.
Presently, Nikki owns a practice with offices in Manchester and West Hartford, teaches at CCMT and through the bodymind center for thai massage, volunteers with the AMTA CT Chapter CSMT Community Service and Emergency Divisions, has been very active at the state-level in speaking out around massage legislation, works ‘fill-in’ for a boutique cruise line offering yoga & massage, volunteers with Veterans and active duty military in CT, and was elected as a delegate for 2017-2018 for the CT Chapter AMTA. She holds Bachelor degrees in English and Sociology from The College of St Rose, Albany NY.
