Nikki is a 2005 graduate of CCMT – Newington’s Spa Program. She joined ATMA as a student and transitioned that to Professional Membership once licensed, celebrating 15-Years with AMTA in 2020. Coming from a background in retail and property management, she embraced the transition to massage and, while beginning to build a practice, began to study Thai Massage. Nikki studied throughout the USA and decided to get rid of the table and move to the mat exclusively after her trip to Thailand. She has been focused on Thai Massage and the associated adjunct therapies since 2010.
In 2010, Nikki also obtained her 200 YTT through Samadhi Yoga Studio. She is certified through Warriors at Ease for trauma-sensitive and adaptive yoga and meditation.
Presently, Nikki owns a practice with offices in Manchester and West Hartford; volunteers with the AMTA-CT Chapter’s CSMT and Emergency Divisions; is active at the state-level around massage legislation; travels the country part-time with The Wall That Heals under the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund; and is working on her Masters in Social Work – Military Social Work Concentration through Walden University.
She has taught at CCMT and the Bodymind Center for Thai Massage; worked ‘fill-in’ for a boutique cruise line offering yoga & massage; volunteer taught yoga with Veterans and active-duty military in CT; has worked merchandise on the USA tour for Marillion; and was elected as a delegate for 2017-2018 & 2019-2021 for the AMTA-CT Chapter. In 2020, she was co-recipient of the Government Relations Activist Award from the AMTA-CT Chapter. She holds Bachelor degrees in English and Sociology from The College of St Rose, Albany NY. Her free-time is consumed by following her favorite band, which has taken her to Holland, Poland, United Kingdom, Canada, and Portugal.
