Archetypes & Ethics: Understanding Roles for Self-Discovery in Massage Therapy

This class offers massage therapists a meaningful and experiential way to explore ethics through the lens of archetypes. Instead of treating ethics as a list of rules, this course looks at the inner patterns and tendencies that shape how we relate to clients, make decisions, and hold boundaries.

Participants explore four archetypes—Healer, Caregiver, Alchemist, and Teacher—as energetic patterns that influence presence, communication, and the ethical space created in therapeutic work.

Madelin Semper, LMBT, is a massage and bodywork practitioner with over thirty years of experience in therapeutic bodywork, somatic healing, and in tegrative healing arts. She brings a presence-centered approach to continuing education, blending somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, trauma-aware principles, and relational attunement to help massage therapists strengthen their therapeutic presence and create grounded, attuned healing spaces.
