About Matthew Gavzy
Matthew, a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) since 2004 and a massage therapist since 1994, is a Board Certified Massage Therapist and AMTA member. He was a former National Sports Massage Team member and NJ AMTA MERT Coordinator, working at national events and post-9/11 sites like the Pentagon and Ground Zero. Matthew has served on the NCBTMB Specialty Certificate Committee and Board, and has experience in orthopedic, sub-acute, and LTC settings. He also provided physical therapy in pop-up hospitals during the COVID pandemic. Matthew holds a BS in Economics from the University of Delaware and owns Body Workings Massage Therapy, specializing in orthopedic and sports massage, and chronic pain management.

About Linda MacConnell
Linda MacConnell, Certified Trager® Practitioner and LMT, has 30 years of experience in massage therapy. She graduated from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in 1994 and has been an instructor since 1998, helping students use their bodies effectively for long-term comfort and safety. Motivated by forearm pain from massage, she explored somatic movement techniques like the Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Method, and became a Certified Trager Practitioner in 2012. In 2020, she earned Tutor Status through Trager International. Her practice focuses on somatic principles, helping clients improve movement awareness to manage pain, stress, and regulate their nervous system.
