Rocky Perez is a 2006 Graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy School and Owner of Hands At Work Center for Massage Therapy, LLC in Bristol, CT where his office is located and also travels to peoples homes to give them massages as well. He also works at ESPN as a Massage Therapist and also works at two other corporations giving chair massage to employees. He also works and volunteers his time with the Brain Injury Association of Connecticut, Hole In The Wall Gang, and Change of Pace Experience.
Rocky is a member of the Sports Massage Team and Community Service Massage Team, Emergency Response Division with Leadership Training. He’s been a Coordinator for many events and for Emergency Response Disaster Events throughout Connecticut.
He is the 2008 recipient of the Sports Massage Team Member of the Year Award and the 2009 President’s Award. He served as a Delegate for the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) CT Chapter in the House Of Delegates and the AOD (assembly of delegates) in 2013 and 2016 thru 2018 and an Alternate Delegate for 2014 and 2015.
Rocky grew up in Oregon and as a high school cross-country runner was twice chosen by the International Sports Exchange Team to represent Oregon, first in China, then in Germany where he completed the run in Munich’s Olympic Stadium. He served in the US Army for 8 years, and had earned his Black Belt In Tae Kwon Do while stationed in Korea then later opened up his own martial arts studio to teach self-defense classes for 3 yrs.
Rocky has been married for 24 years and has 3 daughters. He believes “Success Tends to Favor the Well Prepared.” There’s no luck, we create our luck by being present and committed and being a person of your word!
As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Rocky specializes in Orthopedic Massage, Sports/Clinical Massage as well as Rehabilitation Massage, Assessment, Pre/Post Prenatal Massage, Chair, Swedish and many other modalities.
