ATTENTION: Massage Therapy is Closed Per Governor’s Orders

If you haven’t seen it, the Governor issued a new Executive Order 7H over the weekend that mandates all non-essential business close, effective at 8:00pm THIS EVENING, 3/23/2020 through 4/22/2020.   https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/Office-of-the-Governor/Executive-Orders/Lamont-Executive-Orders/Executive-Order-No-7H.pdf?la=en&fbclid=IwAR0NCN7iOIk5kPsdtO7tdy33NlCvIcsIEyFeufzS4eOyhnb-CjsfRSfiqqE

Massage Therapy is considered a non-essential business by the state. We are not considered essential health care. According to the DPH, “…in this context, essential is described as emergency…” Furthermore, the Department of Economic Development provided legally binding guidance that lists exactly which businesses are considered essential, and massage therapy is not on that list. You can find the list of essential businesses here: https://portal.ct.gov/DECD/Content/Coronavirus-for-Businesses/Coronavirus-for-Businesses
