My Report is on “The Mystery of Pain” by Douglas Nelson.
I really didn’t know how many LMTs would actually be taking this class and when I showed up to this classroom, the room was packed with eager people to listen and learn to what this guy had to say. I was blown away by the knowledge this guy had about pain! I was mesmerized by all the elevated information about the mystery of pain and he definitely had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.
Douglas Nelson is an LMT who is an amazing person and has a passionate mind that demands attention when he speaks about the mystery of pain. He went into detail about how pain is perceived, transmitted and how pain is changed by multiple influences. Douglas also explained that the more you understand the anatomy of pain, the more power you have to influence it and increase your effectiveness with clients in pain. If anyone has the opportunity to take a Douglas Nelson class, do so! You will learn so much and it will change your practice for sure!!
