It’s official! Governor Lamont announced today that all personal services (including massage therapy) would open in Phase 2, which is tentatively scheduled for June 20.
Self-certification will be required as part of the reopening process. You can learn more about that here: https://business.ct.gov/recovery
The state has not rolled out any other guidelines specific to our industry, though we do expect them. Stay tuned. That being said, the FSMTB (Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards) released their guidelines, and they are very similar to the recommendations that AMTA made to the Reopen CT Advisory Group.
