Serving Transgender Clients in Holistic Health Parts 1 & 2
presented by Frances Reed, LMT
Transgender health educator, LGBTQIA+ inclusity consultant, trauma-informed massage therapist
Frances’ pronouns are they, them and theirs (not sure about pronouns?)

Frances Reed has a BA in Urban Studies from Smith College and graduated from the Potomac Massage Training Institute in 2011. Upon graduation Frances co-founded and became president of Freed Bodyworks. In 2019 Frances became the founder of HealthyBinding.com a resource for gender expansive people and practitioners about chest binding health.
In January of 2022, after 10 years of operation and struggling to remain open during the pandemic Freed Bodyworks, unfortunately, closed. Freed Bodyworks embraced the many ways that people’s bodies don’t conform to societal norms: gender identity, race, weight, culture, sub-culture, employment, ability, illness, age, and more.

Frances now runs a private practice specializing in transition-related treatment and bodywork for survivors of trauma in the Washington D.C. area.
