2023 AMTA-CT Chapter New Volunteer of the Year Recipient – Jenne Wilusz-Erisoty

The Chapter New Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to an emerging chapter volunteer who has been serving in an elected or appointed position within the first 1-3 years and has made an impact on the chapter and chapter membership.

This year’s recipient, Jenne Wilusz-Erisoty, has enthusiastically jumped into volunteerism. She joined the conference committee, when we were rebuilding after the pandemic. The conference committee meets regularly during the year planning and then on-site managing the event.

Jenne also stepped into a newly created role to which she was appointed, Communications Chair. Jenne has been learning the large communication structure in the chapter. Her first accomplishment was reviving our Instagram page for the chapter. She has gained a working knowledge of the marketing calendar, which the chapter actively uses because we have many events occurring simultaneously, especially from January to May. As with any new role, we are teasing out the full duties as we go, and Jenne has been very helpful in this process.

Jenne also attended leadership training in St. Louis last year. She gathered ideas from that experience and continues to incorporate them in her messages to the membership. Additionally, Jenne attended a RI-Chapter meeting this past fall to meet with the chapter leadership and share ideas.

There has been a big difference in the past year in her growth as a leader of the chapter, and we look forward to the impact she will have on the chapter as she grows as a contributor and leader.

Please join us in congratulating, Jenne Wilusz-Erisoty as the 2023 CT-Chapter New Volunteer of the Year.
